Hollywood Studios
This park has a lot of popular rides so where to start depends on what you are most interested in. Slinky Dog Dash tends to have the highest wait times. Most people will head to Toy Story Land or Galaxy’s Edge at rope drop. If you head toward Sunset and do Tower of Terror and Rock n Roller Coaster, you will probably have little to no wait at park open. I suggest picking a must do and going there first thing. There will be designated line areas to wait in at park open. The options are: Galaxy’s Edge, Mickey’s Runaway Railway, Toy Story Land, and Sunset Boulevard.
If Rise of the Resistance is a must do, I would purchase the Individual attraction pass for this ride. The ride will sell out, so do not hesitate on this. If you do not buy the pass, I would plan to do the extra 30 minutes in the morning and head straight there or wait until park close to ride.

Don't miss out on the shows in this park. The park was designed to be a studio experience and has just as many shows as it has rides. Our favorites are the Indiana Jones Stunt show and the Frozen Sing A-Long. Don't be fooled by the name, the Frozen show is a treat for all ages.

There are two evening shows in this park: Fantasmic! and Wonderful World of Animation! Fantasmic! is back by Tower of Terror and has two times nightly. Check the app for show times. If you have to pick one show in this park, I would do Fantasmic!

CHARACTERS:
-
Here you will see Mickey and Friends and Pixar cavalcades. They go by Mickey’s Runaway Railway and down Hollywood Boulevard. They are not near most of the attractions, so if you have Pixar fans, I would suggest taking time during the middle of the day to sit along the route to catch a cavalcade.
-
In Galaxy’s Edge, characters are frequently walking around.
-
Other characters are randomly throughout the park, so keep your eyes open.
-
If you want to guarantee to see Mickey, hit up the Disney Jr. Dance Party. It is only about 10 minutes and a lot of fun. Plus it’s in air conditioning.
-
Mickey and Minnie, Olaf, Pixar friends, and Disney Junior characters all have permanent meet and greets in this park so check the app for appearance times.

Food:
Seated Dining:
-
There is character dining here at Hollywood & Vine. In the morning, it is a Disney Jr. breakfast. For lunch and dinner, you have Minnie’s seasonal bash.
-
Fantasmic! dining packages are available to book at various restaurants. This is a great way to get guaranteed seats for the evening show
-
Rodeo Round-Up is a fun experience in Toy Story Land and my kids loved the food.
Quick Service:
-
ABC Commissary - This has a great variety
-
Woody’s Lunchbox - Get the Totchos. They are available plant based as well.
-
Docking Bay 7 - Amazing food, not for picky eaters
Snacks:
-
Blue Milk - This is a great, cool treat. It is dairy free and can come with alcohol. We prefer it over the green milk.
-
Ronto Wraps - There are breakfast and lunch versions of this snack at Ronto Roasters in Galaxy’s Edge. They are big enough to be a meal
-
Pop Tarts at Woody’s Lunch Box
